The Unleashed for the Unreached (U4theU) network stages occasional "Global Prayercasts." The most recent PrayerCast featured three major themes:

1) global suffering: poverty, human trafficking, hunger; and
2) unreached peoples and cities
3) revitalization of your church for the sake of our hurting world.

(Download an order of sequence to find out what countries the prayerleaders represented.) Below, you can see an archive copy of the entire event.

The Empty Chair
Shoulder to Shoulder
April 14, 2015

Have you ever been at a big family gathering when as you sit down to eat together there is an empty chair there?  The loss of the one who is missing, for whatever the reason, leaves a sense of heaviness in the air and the sense of brokenness, or feel that the moment is not complete without the one missing whose presence would change the whole atmosphere.  If only …  if only they would walk through that door and take their place at the table with the family then all would be well, joyous and complete.

Skyping for His Glory

Yesterday I was able to speak with one of the mission workers serving in our PACE work. She is new to mission work and new to this field. She has started language school and is doing well, but she is an extravert and she wants to communicate now!!! I was able to talk with her in English to give her a little break from constantly trying to speak her new language. I was also able to encourage her and most importantly I was able to pray with her. Today, I am thanking God for technology and how tools like “Skype” can be used to His glory!

Just as we had finished setting up the lobby Wall and the adjacent special Wall of twenty-five highlighted people groups, an Columbus Convention Center executive stopped as he was walking by and engaged a few of us in conversation. The brightly colored, beautifully designed twenty-five groups Wall had especially caught his attention, and he wanted to know all about it. We discovered that he is one of the elders at Leave a Mark Church in Columbus. He was so impressed that he promised to bring another Leave a Mark leader to visit the Wall before the convention concluded. You might say the Wall is making its own mark with those who want to Leave a Mark! [READ MORE]
I Believe!
Shoulder to Shoulder
October 3, 2014

I was reading a news update from Lifeline Christian Mission this morning and they were reporting on the Christians who meet in a humble home two thirds of the way up an active volcano mountain in El Salvador.  One hundred percent of their members are currently suffering a failed coffee crop brought on by a terrible disease that destroyed 88% of the plants.  Yet, you would never know it from the great sound of singing, warm greetings, hugs and praise that was rising from the humble church declaring “God is good, all the time; all the time God is good!” over and over in over in Spanish.
