Perhaps you're thinking, "OK -- I get the whole 'unreached people group thing.' It's criminal that they haven't heard yet. But -- what can one person do?" A lot, in our opinion, if you join shoulder to shoulder with others. To help you, we've outlined some "next steps." Four of them start with "W":
- Workshop -- You could start with Workshop B23, Friday, 2pm, in the MG Phoenix room.
- Webinar -- These are like road rallies, without the road. We do two of these per month, always at noon on the second Thursday, and 7pm on the second Sunday evening. (That's Eastern time.) You can get a "ticket" at the U4theU Exhibit.
- Website -- You've already found that! :-)
- Worker -- One of our Volunteers could visit your church or community
We've worded these 'next steps' into a compact, practical format called the "Next Steps Guidesheet." To download the file, just right-click next-steps.pdf then choose "Save link as..." to a location on your computer. You'll then have a virtual roadmap to get "from here to there.". It gives all the details you need to get going and will hopefully carry you well into the future.
"Unleashed for the Unreached" is a special initiative aimed at changing forever the spiritual destinies of people groups and cities that previously have remained "hidden" from the gospel. It's an initiative that connects local churches with unreached peoples and cities, facilitated by trained Project Fulfillment Specialists, peer mentoring, and abundant prayer.
